We are now looking for a new colleague to coordinate the daily operations of the housekeeping department at our 3 hotels in the destination Flåm. Historic Fretheim Hotel in Flåm (122 rooms) will be the workplace and base, you will also coordinate the daily operation of housekeeping at our smaller seasonally open hotels in Flåm (22 rooms) and Aurland (30 rooms).

We are looking for a person with previous experience in housekeeping, preferably from a similar position. You have the hospitality gene, and know what a smile and a warm hello mean to the guest experience.  You enjoy taking responsibility and working independently and are motivated by seeing others succeed.

You will work according to already existing quality standards, but we are looking for a person who will bring new perspectives and who dares to challenge. At times, your work day will be high paced, with short deadlines and sudden changes, so it is important that you have the ability to prioritize tasks and motivate others.

As Supervisor for Housekeeping at Norway's best, you know that no detail is too small, you want to contribute to the company's sustainability goals and you are motivated by creating good guest experiences. You will report to, and work closely with, the head of Rooms Division.

Tasks and areas of responsibility:

• Contribute to good guest experiences
• Ensure that daily routines/quality standards are met
• Planning of daily operations. E.g. duty schedule/purchasing/allocation of rooms
• Training procedures and participate in training of new colleagues
• Design and revision of daily routines
• Assist with recruitment processes for the department
• Participate in daily operations, cleaning of rooms/common areas

Qualifications:

• Experience from Housekeeping
• Valid work permit for Norway
• Driving license class B
• Communicate well in spoken and written English (equivalent to B1 level)
• Well accustomed to using a PC as a work tool (you will use digital systems such as Serviator, Microsoft office etc. daily)

Travel between the hotels in Flåm and Aurland must be expected in periods.
