I’m a 25-year-old man living in Orkland. I have a bachelor’s degree in computer science and I am currently looking for work. I’m an outgoing and socially engaged person who enjoys being around people. I have a passion for tech, gaming, science fiction, fantasy, and Formula 1. I also enjoy good films and attending concerts or shows in genres I like. I use an electric wheelchair and need assistance to live the active and independent life I want. Humor, especially dry or dark humor, is an important part of my daily life.

I am now looking for several personal assistants for my BPA, both for day and night shifts. The positions range from 20% to 100%, and I also need on-call substitutes who can be available on short notice. I operate on a 12-hour shift schedule, with shifts from 08:00-20:00 (day) and 20:00-08:00 (awake night).

What does the job involve?
As my assistant, you will be my arms and legs – not my brain. Your tasks will include daily activities and personal care, and you will receive thorough training. You need to be available and adaptable to help me live the life I want. It’s essential that you are reliable, can be present when needed, and step back when the situation requires it.

The primary workplace will be my home in Orkland, but there may also be assignments in Trondheim. There is a direct bus from Trondheim to Orkland, making it easy to commute if you live in Trondheim.

Who are you?
You need to have a driver’s license, as you’ll be driving my Caravelle. You should be open, flexible, and understand that your role is to support me in my daily life. Personal suitability is more important than formal education, and it’s a bonus if you view travel as a positive experience.

What can I offer?
As my assistant, you will be employed by Medvind Assistanse, a BPA provider offering good working conditions and a designated contact person. Medvind Assistanse will be your formal employer, while I will be your day-to-day manager. The starting wage is NOK 218.01 per hour, with additional pay for evenings, nights, weekends, public holidays, and seniority.

A clean criminal record is required, and a police clearance certificate must be submitted before employment begins.
