Som Robotikk Ingeniør i Kongsberg Discovery blir du en del av et dynamisk og dedikert team. Du vil ha ansvar for mekanisk og elektrisk sammenstilling av AUV-er og annen undervannsrobotikk samt relatert utstyr. Du vil være involvert i testing, oppkjøring og verifisering av produkter og systemer, både lokalt og hos kunder over hele verden.

Oppgaver og ansvarsområder

• · Mekanisk og elektrisk sammenstilling av AUV’er og annen undervannsrobotikk med tilhørende utstyr.
• · Kontroll og godkjenning av deler og materiell fra underleverandører.
• · Test, oppkjøring og verifikasjon av produkter og systemer.
• · Deltakelse i kunderelaterte tester.
• · Supportere kunde i felt.
• · Operasjon av AUV/USV systemer hos kunde.

Ønskede kvalifikasjoner

• · Tekniker, ingeniør eller tilsvarende.
• · Beherske engelsk og norsk skriftlig og muntlig.
• · Erfaring med igangkjøring – test - vedlikehold av elektronikk og mekanikk.
• · Erfaring med nettverk og installasjon / test av software.
• · Bakgrunn til å mestre følgende oppgaver etter opplæring: AUV data systemer, hydrografiske sensorer, akustisk utstyr, vedlikehold og utskiftning av elektronikk og mekanikk komponenter.

As a Robotics Engineer at Kongsberg Discovery, you will be part of a dynamic and dedicated team. You will be responsible for the mechanical and electrical assembly of AUVs and other underwater robotics as well as related equipment. You will be involved in testing, commissioning, and verification of products and systems, both locally and at customer sites worldwide.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• -Mechanical and electrical assembly of AUVs and other underwater robotics with associated equipment.
• Inspection and approval of parts and materials from subcontractors.
• Testing, commissioning, and verification of products and systems.
• Participation in customer-related tests.
• Supporting customers in the field.
• Operation of AUV/USV systems at customer sites.

Desired Qualifications:

• Technician, engineer, or equivalent.
• Proficiency in English and Norwegian, both written and spoken.
• Experience with commissioning, testing, and maintenance of electronics and mechanics.
• Experience with networking and installation/testing of software.
• Background to master the following tasks after training: AUV data systems, hydrographic sensors, acoustic equipment, maintenance, and replacement of electronic and mechanical components.
