The position is for a period of 3 years.
Starting date: as soon as possible.
The position is devoted to carrying out a project entitled " Decoding the novel role of the endoplasmic reticulum in mechanotransduction", funded by the Norwegian Research Council. The aim of the project is to improve our understanding of how mechanical cues are transmitted via cellular and nuclear organelles, affecting gene expression in diseases like cancer.
The candidate will contribute to an already established collaboration between the labs of Prof. Jonas Paulsen and Prof. Cinzia Progida. Their joint group currently consists of several postdocs, PhD students, and master students, with expertice within cell- and molecular biology, mathematics, bioinformatics and programming.
